영문 약칭(IRIS)의 로고 타입은 규제과학과의 신뢰를 나타내며, 안쪽에서 바깥으로 빠져나가는 흐름의 원호 포인트는 출시 전 신약에 대한 안전성 평가로 우수한 의약품 촉진으로 국민보건에 이바지하는 비전을 상징한다.
The logotype of the English abbreviation represents the trust of regulatory science, and the point of the circular arc flowing from the inside out symbolizes the vision to contribute to the improvement of public health by promoting the development of excellent drugs by evaluating the safety and efficacy of new drugs before launch.
About IRIS(Institute of Regulatory through Science)
경희대학교는 국내 유수 명문 대학과의 치열한 경쟁을 뚫고 2021년 식품의약품안전처가 공모한 '규제과학 인재양성사업' 중 의약품 유효성 평가 분야 사업 수행기관으로 선정되었다. 이에 경희대학교 일반대학원 내 규제과학과를 신설하여 의약품 유효성 분야를 선도할 수 있는 석·박사급 규제과학 전문인력 양성에 주력하고 있다.
Kyung Hee University was selected as a project execution institution in the field of drug efficacy evaluation among the 'Regulatory Science Talent Cultivation Project' held by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in 2021 after fierce competition with leading domestic universities. Accordingly, the Department of Regulatory Science was established in the general graduate school, focusing on nurturing experts in regulatory science at the master's and doctoral level who can lead the field of drug efficacy evaluation.
